It was his first present on Christmas day and he loved it and started playing with it immediately. Then his 20-something uncle took over and started building incredible structures for him so that he could run marbles through it - he remembered the old set! Then his 'pa' - grandfather started building structures as the day went on....versatile toy and good for all the ages!Highly recommend.
