Rating: 3 Strange voice and uncommon words by Maja My 2 year old granddaughter plays with this occasionally and perhaps her interest will increase. The voice that says the names of the letters and corresponding words is fuzzy and strange. Also, the words associated with each of the letters are not always the common words one would use to teach the alphabet. I relied on the great reviews of this product and did not see any mention of the weird "voice" or words.
Rating: 4 Cute but not loud enough by Jessica G This toy is durable and high quality and is meant to help with a wide variety of skills from letter recognition to spatial reasoning and motor skills. However, the sound is meant to keep kids' attention and help them learn and the volume is quite low on this puzzle. It's a great idea but just not really executed all that well.
Rating: 5 by Steven, NY simple idea, decent quality. my 3y.o. likes it.
Rating: 2 by Jason, VA Disappointed by this product. Several of the letters don't make a sound, the other letters work when random, incorrect letters are placed near them, and the voice is muffled and hard to hear. This was very surprising to me as everything else we've gotten from Melissa and Doug has exceeded expectations.

Rating: 2 by Monica, UT I am very upset with the sound quality of this product. You cannot understand what the speaker is saying. It is quiet and fuzzy. It sounds very cheap when I did not feel that I paid for a cheap product. Also, the sound is activated by a hand touching the sensor, not just by the puzzle piece so there are a bunch of different letters being said by the speaker when my daughter is touching it even though it's not the piece that she is trying to fit in the puzzle. I'd rather just have the puzzle. The sound is not worth it but there is no way to turn it on or off.
Rating: 3 by Connie, CA I am disappointed the sound is so low and it is hard to hear/understand what is being said.
Rating: 3 by Hannah, NY I like that it is educational and catches my 18 month old son's attention.
Rating: 4 by BEVERLY, VA my nephew says it all. he loves it. He is 2 years old and it has added a descriptive, auditory component to just magnetic letters.

Rating: 5 by Allisonn, IN My son's favorite puzzle. He's been plaing with it for the second month in a row and doesn't get tired of it. He's already turned all the letters and the alphabet. He's just 26 months.
Rating: 5 by Michelle, VA Lve it! Very educational!
Rating: 5 by Mike Reyna, TX 4year old child took to the 4th birthday toy like a duck to water.
Rating: 4 by Lisa, CA I like the alphabet puzzle except for one part of it started peeling back after 1 week. For the price paid it should not be doing that. It's not a prblem and we can still use it- just a little dissapointed with the wood peeling
