    my daughter can manipulate the magnets well, however, I do not know why there wasn't a cover to the box? I had to place the magnets into a plastic container with a lid on it.

    wonderful simple toy that can be used in several different ways - my son-in-law said my grandson can stick them on the car......but I think the stove and refridge would be less messy.....They don't make cars like they used to anyway - but these wooden puzzle pieces are like they used to be - durable, natural, bright and artistic. Don't we all love magnets? I love this company, and I love seeing my grandkids using their imagination with them. Great toy!

    My almost 2 year old granddaughter has played with these magnets for hours. She sticks them on the refrigerator, the front of the dishwasher and even the metal kitchen trashcan. She either carries them from place to place, or takes all the magnets off and puts them in a bucket and then sticks them to a new area. The magnets have helped her learn to identify the different animals and the sounds they make. They are easy to hold and just the right size for her hands.
