It's very educational and gets the child to understand more about different countries and cultures however, it is quite limited in that it is more focused on the US and Europe. I got this gift for my niece who lives in the middle east and I think it would have been more beneficial for her at this stage to learn about her region and more generally about the world. I think if different versions are created for children living in the various regions around the world, it would be more beneficial.
