This is a great toy for learning multiplication tables. It doesn't beep, blip, light up, sing, or anything else 'electronic'. It's an old-fashioned, finger-powered educational toy that does exactly what it says it does.

My only complaint is it's hard to see the answers when you push down on the button. The number is displayed underneath the button, but the finger often covers up the button because you have to push it to get the answer! See the conundrum? Other than that, it's a great toy.

My 7 year old daughter loves this and has experimented more. I personally like it but we have not used it to it's full potential.....yet.

A coworker of mine bought this for her daughter more then 20 years ago and stated it was the best toy ever. Well, I found it here and ordered it right away. My son, who I bought it for just groaned but I know it will help with memorization of the tables (he is 9 yrs old and already grasps the concept and what it looks likei.e. 7X9=63). This year at school, he is expected to rhymn off the times tables quickly. I really think this will help.

The advertisement and box for this product were very misleading. This product advertises that you simply press the equation to get the answer. The illustration on the box shows a bold, well defined, numerical answer when the button is pressed. Instead, the actual answer is blurred behing the opaque button and barely visiable. As such, it is frustrating to youngsters. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

The multiplication keyboard is a wonderful idea to help children who are just learning their multiplication facts and may need help remembering the answers. Simply press down on the desired number sentence and the answer appears below.
