My 8 year old son really enjoys building models from this kit. He likes challenge, so this set works just perfect for him. It's real fun for the kids who like thinking toys or building toys. I like the educational value of this construction set: children learn the basics of mechanics.

It's a great concept. It is a little complex for my seven year old and the pieces sometimes stick while using the motor. As he gets used to it, he is getting better with them. However, the bulldozer wheel attachemnt, I guess it would be caterpillar tracks, does not stay on well at all. Overall a good but not a fantastic buy.
