I am a grandmother and actually bought this product to use for storage of small collections of toys (such as plastic animals) for visiting grandchildren.

My 15 months old twin boys love to play stories with this block set. They keep asking me to retell my story about the puppy and his house again and again. They like to stack the blocks. It's so cute when they try to tell each other 'their own version of my story'.

When this toy arrived, I showed the children at my preschool how they could stack it in different combinations and create a story from the pictures. They have been telling stories ever since. This is a great language/literacy toy.
